One of the best value wines in the appellation!
Nice-Matin (Rosé Special 2008) 15/20, Le Point "A wine of absolute honesty"Respect for the land and the environment are concepts that make sense to Luc Sorin, originally from Burgundy, came to Provence to exercise his exceptional talents. For years, he has been producing wines renowned for their accuracy and frankness. His Bandol Rosé 2007 is the perfect illustration of this: a wine full of character, refined, intense, balanced, structured, supported by concentrated, ripe fruit. Only 7,200 bottles were produced, presented in old Provençal bottles sealed with wax. A must-try!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2014 guide) Selected (An estate or producer that impressed us with one or more of its wines, but where we are unable to give an overall opinion on the style of the entire range)
About the estate:
"Luc Sorin, originally from Burgundy, settled in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer in 1994, on clay-limestone soils where he produces a range of Côtes de Provence and Bandol wines. The Sergine white cuvée gives pride of place to the Rolle grape variety. It will surprise you with its power and is best enjoyed young, when its fruit is at its freshest. The Privée cuvée is dominated by Syrah, and the Bandols are classically built around Mourvèdre. Both the rosé and red Bandols have more body than the Côtes de Provence wines."
RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2008 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About the estate:
The Sorin estate produces wines in both the Bandol and Côtes de Provence appellations. Luc Sorin, originally from Burgundy, took over the estate in 1994 and produces full-bodied, colorful rosés as well as structured, fleshy red wines. We applaud the pursuit of maturity and concentration across all the vintages. However, some of the red vintages are slightly over-extracted and lack freshness, resulting in a lack of elegance."
