"The nose displays a rare definition, developing notes of lemon and mandarin, crystal clear, with a root-like tension reminiscent of juniper. A very noble compromise on the palate for this crystal-clear wine with subtle notes of quince and citron zest. Quite simply excellent. " (Les Meilleurs Vins de France - Gault Millau). Wine rated (2014 guide) 15/20 (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))

About wine:

Aniseed nose with a hint of yellow fruit, the finish is energetic and smooth. This is a white wine for red mullet.

About the estate:

Between Aix and Salon-de-Provence, this 15-hectare estate is located along the Via Aurelia. The vines are naturally grassed, treatments are limited, and herbicides, pesticides, and chemical fertilizers are banned. The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in crates.

Wine rated 18/20 (Outstanding)

4-star rated estate (Very high quality production)

About wine:

The nose displays rare definition, developing notes of lemon and mandarin, crystal clear, with a root-like tension reminiscent of juniper. A very noble compromise on the palate for this crystal-clear expression with delicate notes of quince and citron zest. Quite simply excellent.

About the estate:

The estate is located between Aix and Salon-de-Provence, on limestone soils. Short pruning, debudding, soil cultivation, manual harvesting; vinification in small volumes with indigenous yeasts, a little oak barrel to allow the wines to develop their aromas for 24 months. That, in a nutshell, is the special treatment given to this "Vin de Pays"!

Wine rated (2014 guide) 16/20 (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2015 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

In 2010, the white is flavorful and even recalls the creaminess we noted in the 2009.

About the estate:

This estate was taken over in 1999 by Minna and Jean-Paul Luc. Located in Saint-Cannat, the 15 hectares are planted with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Mourvèdre, as well as Vermentino (or Rolle), Roussanne, and Marsanne for white wines. In conversion to organic farming since 2009 (the first vintage to be certified will be 2012), the vineyard is carefully tended, with short pruning generating low yields on poor limestone soil. Vinification in small containers and aging in Bordeaux barrels produce wines of great structure, offering plenty of style and personality—far removed from any technological character. The aging process is also particularly long! In fact, the bottles are only sold after five years for reds and three years for whites. All of the estate's wines need to be aerated for a long time, and decanting can only do them good.
