Sonberk
The Sonberk estate has been producing wine since the 13th century, in the heart of the Czech Republic’s wine-growing region. In the 16th century, the reputation of Sonberk’s wines led to them being served at the court in Prague. This tradition was revived in 2003.
The Sonberk estate covers nearly 40 hectares of loess soil. The estate’s vineyards are planted primarily with white grape varieties (Riesling, Sauvignon, Traminer, Palava, etc.), but also include a portion of Merlot.
