This wine is worth paying attention to, but like all young wines, it really comes into its own after being opened for a good half-day—or even the next day. It’s definitely not the kind of wine you’d serve when a friend drops by and keep drinking after the appetizers…unless you tell them to come back the next day. And in that case, this wine really stands out and deserves its 4/5 rating.
