This wine is worth paying attention to, but like all young wines, it’s best enjoyed after it’s been open for a good half-day—or even the next day. It’s definitely not the kind of wine you’d drink with friends when a “buddy” drops by and you keep it going after the appetizers…unless you tell them to come back the next day. And in that case, this wine really stands out and deserves its 4/5 rating.
