Le Renard Estate
In 1986, Marie-Christine Andrieu—the daughter and granddaughter of farmers—and Pascal Valadier settled in the southern part of the Rhône Valley wine region. Today, together they cultivate 45 hectares of organically farmed vineyards across two separate estates: Domaine Le Renard and Domaine Valand. The wines they produce come from the Cairanne, Côtes du Rhône Village Plan de Dieu, Côtes du Rhône, and Vin de Pays de la Principauté d’Orange appellations (white, rosé, red).

Domaine Le Renard spans 30 hectares and is farmed organically. Located in Travaillan, near Avignon, the building surrounding the vineyard was a convent in the 15th century. Ideally situated between Orange and Vaison-la-Romaine, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, the vineyard spans the villages of Cairanne, Travaillan, Camaret, and Sérignan-du-Comtat, at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The landscape consists of garrigue scrubland on clay-limestone soils covered with pebbles. The Le Renard estate produces full-bodied, robust wines typical of southern appellations.
