“A ‘Pommardian’ perspective accompanies the tasting”
“Its intense aroma is dominated by notes of juicy cherry and even chocolate. Sensual and velvety, it boasts a rich fruitiness thanks to the grapes being allowed to ripen fully, resulting in ripe, refined tannins.” (RVF Magazine No. 674 – October 2023)

Decanter
Wine rated (2023 guide) 93/100
About the wine:
Deep in color, with an expressive nose of black fruit. Full-bodied, powerful, and concentrated, the tannins are bold, assertive, and robust; they will need time to mellow. But this wine will be excellent when it’s ready, with a style that is decidedly robust and intense for the vintage.

Wine rated (2022 guide) 15,5/20
About the wine:
Aromas of cherry, mocha, and leather. Red berries, mild spices, and tobacco. The tannins are quite pronounced at the moment, but the fruit is vibrant and has good intensity. Should age nicely.

Wine rated (2022 guide) 90-92/100
About the wine:
The 2021 Châteauneuf-du-Pape (80% Grenache, with the remainder split equally between Syrah and Mourvèdre) is charming, featuring ripe red and blue fruits along with peppery garrigue and subtle Provençal notes. Ripe, medium-bodied to full-bodied, with a lovely texture on the palate and supple tannins, it will shine right from the start.
