RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Wine rated (guide 2015) 16/20 (vintage 2012) (Very good wine)
Rated Estate (2021 Guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
The estate is located in Chavanay, in the hamlet of La Ribaudy, the Faury family’s ancestral home. Lionel Faury cultivates 18 hectares across the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte-Rôtie appellations, as well as the Collines Rhodaniennes PGI. We particularly enjoyed the Saint-Joseph wines from recent vintages, which demonstrate that the northern part of the appellation has real potential.
