Amandine Estate
Domaine de l’Amandine is located in the heart of Provence, just a stone’s throw from the famous vineyards of Gigondas and Rasteau, and at the foot of one of the most beautiful villages in France: Séguret. Its name comes from the almond trees that were once planted on one of the original plots.

The history of L’Amandine began in 1968, when Jean-Pierre Verdeau, along with his wife Maryse, founded Domaine de l’Amandine. Driven by the desire to make his own wine from the few hectares his father had left him, Jean-Pierre worked tirelessly to build and develop the estate. Jean-Pierre continued to run the estate until 2013, when his daughter Sabine and son-in-law Alex Suter joined him, bringing a new energy to the business. Two years later, their eldest daughter Mathilde, after studying viticulture and oenology, followed in the family footsteps and joined the estate. Mathilde Suter, the estate’s fourth generation, has now taken the reins.

This traditional, fifty-hectare estate, brimming with vitality, aims to produce wines that highlight the richness of the Rhône Valley’s grape varieties. Sabine, Alex, and Mathilde, concerned for the future of the world, are committed to preserving the planet. As part of this effort, Domaine de l'Amandine obtained the High Environmental Value label in 2018, followed by a transition to organic farming in 2020.
