Domaine de Mourchon
Founded in 1998 by the McKinlay family, Domaine de Mourchon has become an iconic winery in the village of Séguret. Thanks to its secluded location in a valley between the village and Mont Ventoux, this picturesque vineyard—spanning some twenty hectares—is rooted in clay and limestone soils and benefits from a unique microclimate.
The McKinlay family, originally from Scotland, undertook numerous projects as soon as they purchased the vineyard—notably the construction of a winery, which had not existed there before. This state-of-the-art winery paved the way for the arrival of Sébastien Magnouac, the winemaker at Domaine de Mourchon.
Sustainable viticulture combined with traditional, refined winemaking techniques results in structured wines with fruity aromas and intense colors. This style is now recognized both nationally and internationally.
