A taste of this 100% Marselan, which is interesting without being exceptional. Concentrated, its smooth texture glides over a very light, enveloping richness that carries notes of black fruit, candied prunes, and spices, supported by firm tannins enhanced by a noticeable acidity. A slight astringency is noticeable at the finish. Decent but nothing special with duck served with black mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Score = 3.5.

Deep, dark purplish-red color with violet hues at the rim. Nose: dark fruit, freshly crushed fruit, chocolate, earthiness, wet wood, and a hint of sharp alcohol. On the palate, juicy, freshly crushed red and dark fruit. Blackberries, plums, blackcurrants. Then that earthiness and a hint of spice. A firm tannin structure with soft tannins that still need to integrate with the wine. Body, freshness, and drinking pleasure. Short finish with raspberry on the end. Score: 15.5/20
