About the estate:
A 35-hectare vineyard located on the hills above Tulette, which was already planted with vines in the Middle Ages and has been in the Blanc family since 1937. In 2018, Étienne—representing the fourth generation—took over the estate and began the transition to organic farming, which was completed in 2024.

A taste of this 100% Marselan, which is interesting without being exceptional. Concentrated, its supple texture glides over a very light, enveloping richness that wraps around notes of black fruit, candied prunes, and spices, supported by firm tannins enhanced by noticeable acidity. A slight astringency is noticeable at the finish. It pairs well—though nothing more—with duck served with black mushrooms and bamboo shoots. Rating = 3.5.

Deep, dark purplish-red color with violet hues at the rim. Nose: dark fruit, freshly crushed fruit, chocolate, earthiness, wet wood, and a hint of sharp alcohol. On the palate, it’s juicy, with fresh, crushed red and dark fruit: blackberries, plums, and blackcurrants. Then comes that earthiness, along with a hint of spice. A firm tannin structure made up of soft tannins that still need to integrate with the wine. Body, freshness, and drinking pleasure. A short finish with a hint of raspberry at the end. Score: 15.5/20
