Brasserie du Galibier - Alpine
3*Étoiles
Hachette Bières
"The beer has a golden hue, and the fine white head forms a collar of bubbles on the surface. The aroma surprises with fruity and floral hop notes, typically found in IPAs. On the palate, the effervescence is lovely; the bubbles burst delicately in every direction, and the hops remain prominent, with aromas of exotic fruits and hints of Sauvignon. On the second sip, the flavors become herbaceous and greener, and the finish is long. A blonde beer close to the American Pale Ale style, which we propose calling a "Savoyard Pale Ale" made with New World hops." (Le Guide Hachette des Bières)

About the wine:
The beer has a golden hue, and the fine white head forms a collar of bubbles on the surface. The aroma surprises with its fruity and floral hop notes, typically found in IPAs. On the palate, the effervescence is lovely; the bubbles burst delicately in every direction, and the hops remain prominent, with aromas of exotic fruits and hints of Sauvignon. On the second sip, the flavors become herbaceous and greener, and the finish is long. A blonde beer reminiscent of the American Pale Ale style, which we propose to call "Pale Ale Savoyarde" with New World hops.
About the estate:
Brice Leguennec and Pierre François Martin are constantly expanding their lineup with limited-edition brews—you have to be quick to catch them and enjoy them! The success of their core lineup has attracted a loyal customer base eager for new releases. Since the two friends have imagination and energy to spare, they take on projects with that touch of madness that defines them. Take, for example, the challenge taken up by the English with an Under Dog IPA, where the goal was to create an IPA without using the usual hops, and with at least 20% Target. Our brewers took it to the extreme, using 60% Target! Their current research focuses on Russian Imperial Stouts, Imperial IPAs, and barrel-aged beers. New releases to watch for. All their labels have changed; they’re now “flashy” with vibrant landscapes.
