The Domaine de Joÿ traces its origins back to 1925, when Paul and Marguerite Gessler settled in the Gers region, drawn to the Armagnac region. Initially a mixed-farming operation, the estate evolved over the generations under André, Véronique, and then Olivier Gessler, who shifted the focus to viticulture in the 1990s. Today, Vanessa and Kévin Gessler carry on this family legacy.
Located in Panjas, Domaine de Joÿ benefits from a terroir typical of Gascony. Committed to an environmentally friendly approach and certified as Level 3 High Environmental Value, the estate has been developing part of its vineyard using organic farming methods since 2020, in order to best enhance the richness of the soil.
Domaine de Joÿ focuses primarily on white grape varieties, producing fresh, elegant, and aromatic Côtes de Gascogne wines. It also offers a selection of smooth and fruity Bas-Armagnacs, reflecting the full expertise and identity of the terroir.
