The Domaine de Joÿ traces its origins to 1925, when Paul and Marguerite Gessler settled in the Gers region, drawn to the Armagnac region. Initially engaged in mixed farming, the estate evolved over the generations under André, Véronique, and then Olivier Gessler, who shifted the focus of the operation to viticulture in the 1990s. Today, Vanessa and Kévin Gessler carry on this family legacy.

Located in Panjas, Domaine de Joÿ benefits from a terroir typical of Gascony. Committed to environmentally responsible practices and certified at Level 3 under the High Environmental Value program, the estate has been cultivating part of its vineyard using organic farming methods since 2020 to best enhance the richness of the soil.

Domaine de Joÿ focuses primarily on white grape varieties, producing fresh, elegant, and aromatic Côtes de Gascogne wines. It also offers a selection of smooth and fruity Bas-Armagnacs that reflect the region’s expertise and terroir.
