Domaine André Blanck et Fils
The André Blanck Estate stretches all around the village of Kientzheim, a small town at the entrance to the Kaysersberg Valley, covering an area of 14 hectares, more than 65% of which are Grand Crus and Lieux-Dits. Since the 13th century, the Order of the Knights of St. John has owned a commandery that is currently the property of the André Blanck family.
At Domaine André Blanck, wine has been cultivated for several generations. On the estate, two of the sons, Charles and Michel, have joined their father. The Blancks harvest and vinify only grapes from the family estate. Their commitment to more environmentally friendly viticulture leads them to adopt sustainable practices and care: biological pest control, incorporation of organic matter, plowing, weeding, grass cover, and straw application.
