Domaine André Blanck et Fils
The André Blanck Estate extends all around the village of Kientzheim, a small town at the entrance to the Kaysersberg Valley, covering an area of 14 hectares, more than 65% of which consists of Grands Crus and Lieux-Dits. As early as the 13th century, the Order of the Knights of St. John owned a commandery that is now the property of the André Blanck family.
At Domaine André Blanck, wine has been produced for several generations. On the estate, two of the sons, Charles and Michel, have joined their father. The Blancks harvest and vinify only grapes from the family estate. Their commitment to more environmentally friendly viticulture leads them to adopt sustainable practices and care: biological pest control, incorporation of organic matter, plowing, weeding, cover cropping, and the use of straw.
