André Blanck & Fils - Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru 2010
Hachette Wine Guide rating: 2** (Outstanding wine) + Favorite
"A golden wine with a flattering nose combining very ripe exotic fruits, citrus, and a hint of minerality. The palate develops these overripe aromas with beautiful continuity, adding pear and apricot to the palette. It combines richness and finesse thanks to its lovely acidity, which lends elegance and vitality to the long finish. This bottle, which will be at its best from 2015 onwards, is perfect as an aperitif and pairs well with sweet and sour fish dishes." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2014)

Magnificent acidity, good length—still very good a year later, but a bottle stored in the kitchen underwent secondary fermentation during the summer (appearance of bubbles, CO2).

Tasted in November 2015, a beautiful wine at full maturity, very sapid with a round and well-balanced palate.

Note and opinion by Mr. JEAN C. Published on 03/27/2014
It's true, it's very fragrant. But it's slightly effervescent, which to me is a sign of poor winemaking and irreparably spoils the wine.

It has a hint of acidity that balances out the sweetness and makes it very well-rounded.
