"A bright, lively, and crisp Riesling (RVF)"

The liveliness of this Riesling, with its light, delicate, and well-structured style, will surprise you from the very first sip. The granite terroir lends not only elegance but also floral notes and hints of warm stone.

Wine rated (2024 guide) 93/100

Rated estate (2023 guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the wine:

This bright, lively, and crisp Riesling displays lovely ripe fruit, with a very precise and well-defined profile, and a finish supported by excellent, subtle bitter notes. (RVF Magazine 682, July–August 2024)

About the estate:

In just a few years, Félix Meyer has built a solid reputation in Alsace. This is no accident: the viticulture is of high quality, with carefully controlled yields, and the wines are aged on fine lees in large casks. Having joined the family estate in 1992, Félix has skillfully brought out the character of Katzenthal’s granite-rich terroirs. Don’t overlook his Gewürztraminer, which is never heavy and achieves a crystalline purity, winning over even the detractors of this variety, which is all too often described as cloying. The estate expanded by 3.5 hectares in 2019, and 2021 saw the arrival of organic certification.
