Domaine Meyer-Fonné
Renowned in Alsace, Meyer-Fonné is an 18-hectare vineyard where grapes are harvested by hand. The vineyards are primarily planted with Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris.
Meyer-Fonné has been certified organic since 2021; the 2018, 2019, and 2020 vintages were in conversion.
Meyer-Fonné is now run by the great-grandson of the founder of the same name: Félix Meyer, who initiated the estate’s transition to organic farming after managing it in the same manner without certification for many years.
Meyer-Fonné’s wines are intensely aromatic and exceptionally precise, a quality that earned the estate the title of “Alsace Winemaker of the Year” in the 2022 Guide Hachette.
