Domaine Meyer-Fonné
Renowned in Alsace, Meyer-Fonné is an 18-hectare estate where grapes are harvested by hand. Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Gris are the main varieties grown here.
Meyer-Fonné has been certified organic since 2021, with the 2018, 2019, and 2020 vintages undergoing conversion.
Meyer-Fonné is now run by the great-grandson of its founder, Félix Meyer, who began converting the estate to organic farming after running it in the same way without certification for many years.
Meyer-Fonné's wines are intensely aromatic and highly precise, which has earned the estate the title of "Alsace Winemaker of the Year" by the Guide Hachette 2022.
