“The 2015 Torrontès displays the white floral and orange peel notes typical of the variety, but in a subtle way, with hints of citrus and balsamic notes. The palate is very fresh, with sweet-and-sour flavors and a crisp, dry finish. Ideal with light cuisine.” (Wine Advocate 2016 – Robert Parker)

I visited the Calchaquí Valley and I love Torrontés. I’d already noticed that Torrontés doesn’t age well!! I wanted to give it another try, but I was terribly disappointed by this 2015 vintage. It’s completely past its prime. The freshness is still there, but the aromas have faded. Just to clarify, I’m a winemaker. What a shame!!
