Bodega DiamAndes
As owners of Château Malartic-Lagravière and Château Gazin-Rocquencourt, the Bonnie family set out to explore new horizons in winemaking in 2005. Together with their partners (the Peré-Vergé and Cuvelier families, as well as Michel and Dany Rolland), they acquired 130 hectares of contiguous land in the Uco Valley, south of the Mendoza region. It is here that Bodega DiamAndes was established, within the famous Clos de los Siete. DiamAndes is a combination of two words: diamond and Andes (mountain range)
Bodega DiamAndes enjoys a temperate climate: the vineyard’s altitude is ideal for viticulture, with low rainfall and relative humidity. The wide range between daytime and nighttime temperatures promotes tannin concentration, which is essential for producing high-quality wines.
The Bodega DiamAndes vineyard is planted primarily with Malbec, Argentina’s flagship grape variety.
