Bodega DiamAndes
Owners of Château Malartic-Lagravière and Château Gazin-Rocquencourt, the Bonnie family set out to conquer new wine-growing horizons in 2005. Together with their partners (the Peré-Vergé and Cuvelier families, Michel and Dany Rolland), they acquired 130 hectares of contiguous land in the Uco Valley, south of the Mendoza region. This is where Bodega DiamAndes was created, within the famous Clos de los Siete. DiamAndes is a combination of two words: diamond and Andes (mountain range).
Bodega DiamAndes enjoys a temperate climate: the altitude of the vineyard is ideal for viticulture, with low rainfall and relative humidity. The difference between day and night temperatures is significant, which promotes the concentration of tannins, essential for the production of high-quality wines.
The Bodega DiamAndes vineyard is mainly planted with Malbec, Argentina's leading grape variety.
