It is here that the region’s flagship grape variety, the Malbec, in one of its finest expressions. The 5 hectares of old vines Malbec from the Bodega Poesia are grown without the use of chemicals, on clay-loam soil with gravel in the subsoil. Among other wines, they produce this cuvée Clos des Andes, which proved to be particularly delicious in 2001 and is now at its absolute peak. A sure bet—definitely worth trying!
