About wine:
Blueberries, blackberries, and hints of espresso mingle on the nose of the 2019 King's Wood Shiraz, which was aged in a large cask (2,500 liters). With no obvious woody impact and 25% whole clusters, it is reminiscent of a good Saint-Joseph, blending fruity and savory notes into a harmonious whole. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, it is supple on the palate, with just a hint of menthol appearing on the long, silky finish.

About wine:
This wine exemplifies the balance between power and elegance that winemaker Pete Fraser excels at. This aromatic wine exudes an enticing aroma of red berries and blueberries, licorice, winter spices, and a hint of earthiness, similar to umami. The palate is deliciously balanced, with fruit and savory spices blending into well-defined tannins. Texture and power, but also freshness and accessibility. Drink now or until 2032.
