Blinis with Smoked Salmon

"A sparkling wine created by one of Australia's most renowned wineries!"

“A blend of 72% Pinot Noir and 28% Chardonnay, this wine is made primarily from grapes grown in Northern Tasmania, which gives it a fresh style. It is a blend of the 2018 and 2019 vintages, with reserves from the 2015, 2016, and 2017 vintages. Aromas of strawberries and sliced cherries, with a palate of sweet red fruits that offers a pulpy quality. There are abundant flavors of sweet berries. Ready to drink now.” (James Suckling 2021)

About the wine:

You have to squint to see it, but Jansz’s latest Premium Rosé displays only subtle hints of pink. The nose offers a palette of aromas of toasted hazelnuts, dried figs, lemon verbena, orange zest, and dried lavender. On the palate, while it lacks a bit of depth and length, it features fresh, vigorous bubbles and a chalky texture. A serious wine from one of Tasmania’s best-known producers.
