Aromas of ripe, intense fruit give way to a full-bodied and fairly rich palate, revealing intense, lush fruit accompanied by notes of yeast. The 2021 Grüner Veltliner Stein is grown on gneiss soil. On the nose, it offers aromas of moss and lemon, salty notes of sage, and a softer hint of woodruff that lends a creamy quality. A dazzling lightness and a sensation of raw minerality reveal themselves with complete transparency, while remaining supple and creamy. The whole offers perfect harmony, well-defined freshness, and a crystalline resonance—always enticing, with a beautiful, vibrant citrus liveliness.
