Marcel Lapierre Estate

Domaine Marcel Lapierre is a family estate located in Villié-Morgon. Marcel Lapierre, who passed away in 2010, was a fervent advocate of natural wines and turned his estate into a flagship of the Morgon appellation. Today, his wife and son Mathieu, joined by his sister Camille, are continuing Marcel Lapierre's legacy.

The Domaine Marcel Lapierre vineyard now covers 13 hectares of vines, cultivated organically since 1981, including 2 hectares located on the Côte du Py. The authentic expression of the terroir guides the work at the estate day after day: manual harvesting, traditional Beaujolais vinification without the addition of SO2 or exogenous yeasts.

Marcel Lapierre wines are lively wines, the authentic expression of the Gamay Noir à Jus Blanc grape variety, imbued with the distinctive character of the Villié-Morgon terroir.
