Domaine Marcel Lapierre
Domaine Marcel Lapierre is a family estate in Villié-Morgon. Marcel Lapierre, who passed away in 2010, was a fervent advocate of natural wines and made his estate a flagship of the Morgon appellation. Today, his wife and son Mathieu, joined by his sister Camille, carry on Marcel Lapierre's legacy.
Today, the Domaine Marcel Lapierre vineyard comprises 13 hectares of vines cultivated organically since 1981, 2 hectares of which are located on the Côte du Py. Day after day, the authentic expression of the terroir guides the work at the estate: manual harvesting, traditional Beaujolais vinification with no addition of SO2 or exogenous yeasts.
Marcel Lapierre wines are living wines, the fruit of the authentic expression of Gamay Noir with white juice, imbued with the typicality of the Villié-Morgon terroir.
