Les Jonqueyres Castle
Château les Jonqueyres is located in Saint-Paul-de-Blaye, in the Bordeaux region. Château les Jonqueyres was taken over by Pascal Montaut in 1977 and produces red wine under the Côtes de Blaye and Côtes de Bourg appellations. The estate comprises 14 hectares of vineyards, producing three wines: Château Les Jonqueyres, now under the Blaye appellation; If des Jonqueyres, the second wine under the Premières Côtes de Blaye appellation; and Le Clos Alphonse Dubreuil under the Côtes de Bourg appellation.

The heart of Château les Jonqueyres beats to the rhythm of tradition and a job well done. Everything here is meticulously cared for: from cultivating the vines as naturally as possible (no chemical herbicides, no insecticides), to hand-harvesting, to winemaking and aging. The vineyards of Château Les Jonqueyres rest on very clayey soil, perfectly suited to the grape varieties, which consist mainly of Merlot.
