Château les Jonqueyres
Château les Jonqueyres is located in Saint Paul de Blaye, in the Bordeaux region. Château les Jonqueyres was taken over by Pascal Montaut in 1977 and produces red wine under the Côtes de Blaye and Côtes de Bourg appellations. The estate has 14 hectares of vines, producing three wines: Château Les Jonqueyres, now under the Blaye appellation, If des Jonqueyres, the second wine under the Premières Côtes de Blaye appellation, and Le Clos Alphonse Dubreuil under the Côtes de Bourg appellation.

The heart of Château les Jonqueyres beats to the rhythm of tradition and a job well done. Everything here is carefully tended: from the cultivation of the vines in the most natural way possible (no chemical weedkillers or insecticides) to the hand-picked harvest, vinification and aging. The Château Les Jonqueyres vineyard is planted on very clayey soil, which is perfectly suited to the mainly Merlot grape variety.
