About the estate:
A 15-hectare vineyard in a single block (currently in the process of converting to organic farming) at the foot of the Blaye citadel, acquired in 2011 by Odile and Thierry Bazin, who, after long careers in the corporate world, decided to take up winemaking.

That’s why I’ve started doing all my wine shopping at 1J1vin: this wine was “simply” their top pick, with no ratings from other guides. Well, it’s become my favorite too—it’s just excellent. Surprising for a Côte de Blaye—I need to rethink my preconceptions... Thanks to the team at 1J1vin!
