Château Croix-Mouton

Located in the town of Lugon, Château Croix-Mouton benefits from the clay soils of the Île du Carney and an oceanic climate enhanced by its proximity to the Dordogne River. The vineyards of Château Croix-Mouton belong to Jean-Pierre Janoueix, a wine professional who fell in love with the Bordeaux terroir. He owns several wine estates, on which he has meticulously selected each vineyard plot. Jean-Pierre Janoueix notably owns Château La Croix Saint-Georges and Château Cap Saint-Georges. 

The wines produced by Château Croix-Mouton are wines for enjoyment, excellent when young. They have several distinctive features: first, they are made almost exclusively from Merlot, which makes them very rich and full-bodied. Second, each vintage has its own label with different colors and designs.
