Château Joinin
Château Joinin, a family-owned estate for several generations, was taken over in 1989 by Mr. and Mrs. Mestreguilhem, who decided to vinify their own harvest. They, who also own Château Pipeau, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, drawing on the experience and expertise they had acquired there over many years, devote meticulous care to vineyard management and winemaking in order to produce a red Bordeaux of the highest quality at the Château Joinin estate.
In 2000, the focus was on building new cellars at the heart of the estate, equipped with modern technology designed to enhance quality and protect the environment. The Château Joinin vineyard now spans 25 hectares of red grape varieties, with a high proportion of Merlot, resulting in a pleasant wine with suppleness and very appealing fruitiness, best enjoyed while young.
