Joinin Castle
Château Joinin, a family estate for several generations, was taken over in 1989 by Mr. and Mrs. Mestreguilhem, who decided to vinify the fruit of their harvest themselves. The Mestreguilhems, who also own Château Pipeau, a Saint-Emilion Grand Cru in Saint-Laurent-des-Combes, draw on the experience and expertise they have acquired there over many years to meticulously cultivate their vines and vinify their grapes, producing a very high-quality red Bordeaux at Château Joinin.

In 2000, the focus was on building new cellars at the heart of the estate, equipped with modern technology to enhance quality and protect the environment. The Château Joinin vineyard now covers 25 hectares of red grape varieties, with a high proportion of Merlot, producing a pleasant wine with good flexibility and a very pleasant fruitiness, which can be enjoyed from a young age.
