Thierry Valette did not set out to become a winemaker. Even though his ancestors had been involved in the wine industry for four generations, he had a particular interest in art, especially modern dance and jazz.Benefiting from spectacular terroir dominated by asteriated limestone, common to premier cru classified wines, the soils impart finesse, freshness, and minerality to the grapes, with deep, complex bouquets rivaling those of the most prestigious terroirs. Choosing the demanding approach of biodynamics, Thierry Valette quickly established himself as an outstanding winemaker, skillfully producing a wine that rivals the greatest and most original in Bordeaux.
