F. Thienpont
François Thienpont is the heir to a long family tradition of winemaking, established in the Bordeaux region since the 1920s. Vieux Château Certan, acquired in 1924 by his grandfather Georges Thienpont, Château Puygueraud and Le Pin are among the Thienpont family's historic vineyards.
Since 2002, François Thienpont has been running Terra Burdigalia with Stephane Derenoncourt, a wine merchant working in partnership with Bordeaux winegrowers to produce bespoke wines. The F.Thienpont range now comprises six Bordeaux AOC wines.
