F. Thienpont
François Thienpont is the heir to a long family tradition in winemaking, a tradition that has been deeply rooted in the Bordeaux region since the 1920s. Vieux Château Certan, acquired in 1924 by his grandfather Georges Thienpont, Château Puygueraud, and Le Pin are among the Thienpont family’s historic estates.
Since 2002, François Thienpont has co-managed Terra Burdigalia with Stéphane Derenoncourt, a wine merchant company that partners with Bordeaux winemakers to craft bespoke wines. The F. Thienpont range now consists of six wines from Bordeaux AOCs.
