Monteberiot Castle
Château de Monteberiot is an estate run by Gilles and Marie-Hélène Marsaudon, located in the heart of the Pays de Bourg in the commune of Mombrier (northern Gironde – right bank of the estuary).

The Château de Monteberiot vineyard stretches across the hillsides of Mombrier, on beautiful soil composed of colorful clay and limestone, in a very hilly area facing mainly southwest. The aim is to restore the true meaning of the expression "sustainable agriculture": natural grass cover, soil cultivation, phytosanitary treatments limited to what is strictly necessary, weeding between rows alternating with plowing.

From pruning to harvesting, everything is done at Château de Monteberiot to obtain the best possible quality grapes, with the key words being: yield control and the search for optimal ripeness (leaf removal, thinning, green harvesting).  Guided by a plot-by-plot selection, the harvest is carried out manually or mechanically depending on the desired cuvée. The grapes are destemmed and sorted on a table before being placed in vats.

Vinification, aging, and bottling are carried out in Château de Monteberiot's own cellars.
