Crémant de Bordeaux

In 1990, the Crémant de Bordeaux AOC was created at a time when sparkling wines were beginning to gain popularity. Since then, sales have continued to rise. An average of 7.5 million bottles of white (Sauvignon and Sémillon grape varieties) and rosé (Merlot and Cabernet) wines are sold, distributed among 200 winegrowers. Crémants de Bordeaux offer an alternative to Champagnes, with a fresh, dense and rich style, and notes of citrus and white flowers.
