Château Les Charmes-Godard
In 1988, Nicolas Thienpont, who already owned Château La Prade and Alcée, purchased Château Les Charmes-Godard, a rare estate that produces exclusively dry white wine. The vineyard, spanning over 5 hectares, benefits from soil that is predominantly clay-limestone with loamy layers over a marl subsoil.

The teams take care to employ the techniques used in the production of great white Bordeaux wines, such as yield control, debudding, leaf removal, thinning, and green harvesting. Thanks to its quality, it is one of the pillars of the Francs Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. Indeed, the wines of Château Les Charmes-Godard possess a rare intensity and liveliness.
