The nose is dominated by Merlot, with slight notes of vanilla, prunes, and even toast. The oak is ever-present and complements the whole well. The attack is supple, with elegant, mellow tannins. The palate is relatively complex with a lovely, lingering finish. The whole is very elegant and expressive! Excellent value for money. Benefits from being decanted or opened the day before.
