"A family-run winery that showcases the terroir of Bordeaux's Graves region—where the wine is made primarily from Merlot!"

Predominantly Merlot, the 2023 Haut-Reys—vinified and aged in tanks—reveals notes of red and black fruits and has a dark color. The bouquet is in harmony with a supple, elegant palate, supported by silky tannins and a lovely finish.

Hachette Wine Guide

Guide Hachette des vins

Rated wine (2026 guide) 1*Star (2022 vintage) (A very successful wine)

Rated estate (2018 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)

About the wine:

The deep color hints at a powerful nose, with aromas of spices, toast, cooked fruit, and morello cherries steeped in brandy. Already at its peak, the palate charms with its roundness, fine tannins, sun-kissed fruitiness, and a licorice-tinged finish. Simple and generous, it’s best enjoyed sooner rather than later with meat in sauce or black pudding. 2025–2028

About the estate:

Created in 1977 through the merger of several small estates, this Graves wine estate was purchased in 1997 by Isabelle and Grégoire Gabin, who restructured and expanded it, broadening its range of wines. It now covers 20 hectares.
