"A spectacular wine that would be hard not to like! ~ James Suckling"
"Located near some of Margaux's finest vineyards, this estate consistently produces beautiful wines. This cuvée is nicely structured, with firm tannins and generous black fruit. A high percentage of Merlot results in a particularly ripe and juicy wine that will age well in the medium term. (Wine Enthusiast 2018) - Delivery in wooden cases is available for orders of 6 bottles of this wine (depending on the country and shipping method selected).

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2016 guide) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one would expect from its appellation(s))
About the estate:
Located in the south of the Médoc region, this vast 60-hectare vineyard, ideally situated near the Giscours and Cantemerle châteaux on the Macau hilltop, continues to grow in popularity, and rightly so. Since 1996, it has been owned by Jean-Pierre Marie, who works alongside his son Nicolas.

Rated estate (2016 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)
About wine:
The 2015 vintage offers beautiful elegance and depth on the palate, which suits the wine well and gives it a lovely charm.
About the estate:
For several years now, this vineyard, ideally located on the edge of the Margaux appellation, has been producing wines that offer remarkable value for money. Under the leadership of Annick and Jean-Pierre Marie, it has gradually found its feet, and the aging of the vineyard now allows it to reach a very high level, with an appealing style that is not lacking in finesse.

Wine rated (2018 guide) 91/100
About wine:
Big black fruit and tons of ripe tannins make this a spectacular wine that would be hard not to like. The balance is really good, making it delicious right now. If it were a little more complex, it would score even higher.

Wine rated (2017 guide) 93/100
About wine:
Garnet red with violet highlights. Intense, complex bouquet. Notes of cinnamon, toast, blackberries, raspberries, and licorice. Creamy and fruity on the palate. The palate is balanced and perfectly supported by the structure, which gives it class and carries the fruit through to the finish. The tannins are elegant and very fine-grained. Very expressive aromatic character and an intensely fruity, long finish. What a great success! 2020-2035
Vert de Vin
Wine rated (2016 guide) 92/100 (Jonathan Choukroun Chicheportiche)
About wine:
The nose is aromatic and offers a little power and concentration. There are notes of blackberry and black berries combined with subtle notes of black tea, spices, wood, and very discreet toasted notes. The palate is fruity and offers richness, smoothness, freshness, tension, a lovely texture, and good substance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, crème de cassis and, more subtly, fleshy strawberry, combined with hints of licorice, toasted oak and a subtle touch of milk chocolate on the finish. The tannins are fine and well-integrated. Good length and persistence.
