Doyac Castle
Château Doyac is an old Haut-Médoc estate acquired in 1998 by Max de Pourtalès, a former banker.

Château Doyac is located on the limestone base of Saint-Seurin de Cadourne. On these beautiful hilltops with gentle south-facing slopes and drainage completely redone in 1998, Max de Pourtalès produces a Grand Vin with character (close to the best St Estèphe wines), combining structure and finesse.

The terroir of Château Doyac is 80% planted with Merlot grapes, which also gives it a remarkable roundness, making it a worthy representative of the great wines of the Médoc (close to the best St Estèphe wines and adjacent to the Châteaux Sociando-Mallet and Charmail).
