Château Malescasse
Château Malescasse was built in 1824 on the highest point of the village of Lamarque, and its wine has been renowned since the 19th century. In 1992, the Alcatel Alsthom Group acquired the estate and undertook extensive renovations to provide Château Malescasse with all the resources needed to cultivate this exceptional vineyard.

Owned by Vignobles Austruy since 2012, Château Malescasse perfectly embodies the timeless classicism of the great wines of the Haut-Médoc. Renowned for the quality of its wines and its exceptional terroir, it is situated between Margaux and Saint-Julien, in the commune of Lamarque. Here, on the finest gravelly hills of the Médoc—which give Bordeaux’s great wines their unique character—Merlot and Cabernet grapes express themselves in perfect harmony.
