“Tasted at a 2010 Crus Bourgeois tasting in London, it has a classic graphite-driven bouquet tinged with hints of tobacco, featuring an abundance of black fruit and superb definition. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, pleasantly gripping tannins and a finish of great distinction marked by tobacco. Great finesse. Enjoy now through 2018.” (Neal Martin’s Wine Journal - eRobertParker.com). Located in the heart of the Médoc between Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, this Cru Bourgeois has all the makings of a great wine. This 2010 vintage can be enjoyed now with red meats or game, or cellared for a few years...

A classic Haut-Médoc: straightforward, with firm, tight tannins. The wine is astringent, with pronounced acidity and oak. A bitter finish. Compared to other 2010 vintages, it’s a far cry from the balance and smoothness of an Escurac, Belle-Vue, or Charmail.
