Château Moulin La Gravière

Château Moulin La Gravière, located in the Bordeaux region, is now owned by Catherine Péré-Vergé. Based in Pomerol since 1985, Catherine Péré-Vergé has demonstrated her energy and drive by undertaking an extensive investment program for her property, Château Montviel. From this estate, she embarked on multiple acquisitions with equal success: Château Le Gay and Château La Violette in 2005. In the meantime, Catherine Péré-Vergé also turned her attention to the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation by acquiring Château Moulin La Gravière in 2000.

Château Moulin La Gravière is located in the commune of Néac, above Château Rouget. The vineyards of Château La Gravière face due south on a gravel plateau. The vineyard consists of vines over 50 years old. From the vineyard, two Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation wines are produced: Château La Gravière, made exclusively from Merlot, and Château Moulin La Gravière, a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet. Château Moulin La Gravière is managed with the same commitment to quality and the same meticulous care as in Pomerol, where Michel Rolland works wonders!
