"Siaurac has long produced 'fine' Lalande-de-Pomerol wines, and the 2015 is well worth exploring. It offers a sensual, fruity bouquet with plenty of black cherry and blackcurrant, though these notes do not dominate. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins. There are a few layers of new oak that still need to be integrated, but there is enough fruit to make that happen. The finish reveals seductive notes of truffle and white pepper that bring a lovely salinity.” (Wine Advocate 2016 - Robert Parker) Delivered in a wooden case for any order of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Pickup Point delivery method)

Wine rated (2018 guide) 15,5/20 (Very good wine)

Rated estate (2018 guide): 2 stars (A solid, recommendable wine, though slightly more consistent and uniform than the previous vintage)

About the wine:

The aromas are fresher than they were during the en primeur tastings. The tannins also have more bite.

About the estate:

Forty hectares of vineyards are planted in this part of Néac, where Siaurac blends with the smoothness of well-structured tannins.

A truly beautiful wine—it can be enjoyed now or cellared, with great aging potential. I’ll definitely be buying more.

It's already quite good. If it improves with age as expected, it will be magnificent in a few years.

Having already been impressed by the 2009 vintage, I can only be pleased with this one, which is well-balanced and ready to drink.
