Château Malescot St-Exupéry
On February 5, 1827, Count Jean-Baptiste Saint-Exupéry purchased Château Malescot. The great-grandfather of aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, he decided to add his name to the château's name. It would henceforth be known as Château Malescot St-Exupéry. On June 1, 1955, Paul-Roger Zuger acquired the property, which at the time consisted of only 7 hectares of vines. After nearly 30 years of sustained effort and attention, Château Malescot St-Exupéry regained its status and its desire to "aim ever higher." Since 1994, Roger Zuger's son, Jean-Luc, has supervised the management of the vineyard and the production of the wines.
