Château Malescot-St-Exupéry
On February 5, 1827, Count Jean-Baptiste Saint-Exupéry purchased Château Malescot. As the great-grandfather of the aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, he decided to add his name to the château’s designation. It would henceforth be known as Château Malescot St-Exupéry. On June 1, 1955, Paul-Roger Zuger acquired this property, which at the time consisted of only 7 hectares of vineyards. After nearly 30 years of sustained effort and care, Château Malescot St-Exupéry has regained its standing and its drive to aim “ever higher.” Since 1994, Roger Zuger’s son, Jean-Luc, has overseen the management of the vineyard and the winemaking process.
