Château Fleur La Mothe
Château Fleur La Mothe is owned by a trio of winemakers: Antoine Medeville, Henri Boyer, and Edouard Massie. Classified as a Cru Bourgeois in 1932, it is located in the commune of Saint-Yzans in the Médoc.
The vineyard, covering approximately 15,000 hectares, stretches from south to north for about 80 kilometers. The various plots of Château Fleur la Mothe are located on hills known as the “Croupes de Graves.” In fact, “Mothe,” in the Médoc dialect, means “hill.”
In 2012, Château Fleur la Mothe acquired a new fermentation tank and began implementing more precise plot-by-plot management in order to continuously improve the health of the grapes and, consequently, the quality of the wines produced.
