Château Haut-Maurac

Château Haut-Maurac is owned by a true wine and vineyard enthusiast: Olivier Decelle. In 1999, he took the reins of the remarkable Mas Amiel estate (Roussillon), transforming it into an unquestionable success with a global reputation. A passion that led him a few years later to the Bordeaux region to take over three estates with a prestigious history: Châteaux Jean Faure, Haut-Ballet, and Château Haut-Maurac ( AOC Médoc), located among the finest terroirs on the right and left banks of Bordeaux.

A thorough reorganization, unwavering rigor in the cellars and vineyards, and the talent of their new owner—supported by a team of passionate individuals—have restored these estates to their former glory. The entire vineyard of Château Haut-Maurac, located within the Médoc appellation, is managed using sustainable agriculture practices. Leaf removal, suckering, green harvesting, and soil cultivation between the vine rows are carried out to ensure optimal yields and grape quality worthy of these prodigious Bordeaux terroirs.
