In 1867, the Ballande family, Bordeaux wine merchants, acquiredChâteau de Camparian. Having previously lived in New Caledonia, they brought back to their Bordeaux estate in Pessac-Léognan two tribal-inspired statues that still stand today on the estate, watching over the vineyards and the château with a benevolent eye. For over a century, the Ballande family has been dedicated to showcasing this exceptional terroir.
Located in the commune of Villenave d'Ornon, Château de Camparian is a neighbor to the prestigious Haut-Brion and Pape Clément.
