Château Canon-la-Gaffelière

Château Canon-la-Gaffelière, owned by Stephan von Neipperg, is located just outside the medieval town of Saint-Emilion, at the foot of the hillside. The vineyard is situated on the southern slope of the hills. Château Canon-la-Gaffelière produces, among other wines, anAOC Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé.

The Château Canon-la-Gaffelière vineyard covers an area of 19.5 hectares in the heart of the Saint-Emilion wine region; its clay-limestone and clay-sandy soils form a complex yet exceptional terroir. On the surface, the sandy component becomes increasingly pronounced as one moves away from the foot of the hillside.

Remarkably structured, consistently elegant, and with a beautifully long finish, Château Canon-la-Gaffelière AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru eloquently reflects a new philosophy of winemaking.
