Château Canon-la-Gaffelière

Château Canon-la-Gaffelière, owned by Stephan von Neipperg, is located just outside the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, at the foot of the hills. The vineyard is situated on the southern slope of the hills. Château Canon-la-Gaffelière produces, among other wines, anAOC Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé.

The vineyards of Château Canon-la-Gaffelière cover an area of 19.5 hectares in the heart of the Saint-Emilion wine region; the clay-limestone and clay-sandy soils create a complex yet exceptional terroir. On the surface, the sandy component becomes increasingly pronounced as one moves away from the foot of the hillside.

Remarkably structured, consistently elegant, and with a beautiful length on the palate, Château Canon-la-Gaffelière AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru eloquently reflects a new philosophy of winemaking.
