Château Canon-la-Gaffelière

Château Canon-la-Gaffelière, owned by Stephan von Neipperg, is located at the gateway to the medieval village of Saint-Emilion, at the foot of the hillside. The vineyard is located on the southern slope of the hills. Château Canon-la-Gaffelière produces, among other wines, anAOC Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé.

The vineyard of Château Canon-la-Gaffelière covers an area of 19.5 hectares in the heart of the Saint-Emilion vineyard. The clay-limestone and clay-sand soils constitute a complex yet exceptional terroir. On the surface, the sandy soil becomes increasingly prominent as one moves away from the foot of the hill.

Remarkably structured, consistently elegant, and with a beautiful length on the palate, Château Canon-la-Gaffelière AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru eloquently reflects a new production philosophy.
