Château Canon-la-Gaffelière

Château Canon-la-Gaffelière, owned by Stephan von Neipperg, is located at the foot of the hillside at the gateway to the medieval town of Saint-Emilion. The vineyard is located on the southern slopes. Château Canon-la-Gaffelière produces an AOC Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru classé.

The Château Canon-la-Gaffelière vineyard covers an area of 19.5 hectares in the heart of the Saint-Emilion vineyards. The clayey-limestone and sandy-clay soils make up a complex yet exceptional terroir. On the surface, the sandy predominance becomes more pronounced the farther you go from the foot of the hill.

Remarkably well-structured, elegant and long on the palate, Château Canon-la-Gaffelière AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru is an eloquent testimony to a new production philosophy.
