"Floral, earthy, smoky, and elegant, this wine exudes class and charm with its layers of medium-bodied red berries—sweet, fresh, pure, silky, vibrant, and mineral-driven. Refined, with good length and complexity, it’s truly delicious now and will only improve with age. It is an undisputed contender for the best Grand Mayne vintage ever produced!” (The Wine Cellar Insider - Jeff Leve 2022) - Delivered in a wooden case for any order of 6 bottles of this wine (excluding Pickup Point delivery).

Rated 2 stars (A solid, recommendable production, though slightly more conventional and uniform than the previous one)
About the estate:
Spanning 17 hectares, this Grand Cru Classé located on the western edge of the Saint-Emilion plateau is managed by the Nony family. Under the leadership of Jean-Antoine Nony, the estate has made significant strides and appears to have found its stride in producing great wines on this first-rate terroir. The 2018 and 2020 vintages, released en primeur, confirm this new phase. Well done.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines are regularly recognized by the guide)
About the estate:
This estate, which has been in the Nony family since 1934, has retained its original name (“grand domaine” in Old French): in the 19th century, with nearly 300 hectares, it was the largest estate in Saint-Émilion. Today, the vineyards cover 17 hectares on the gentle slopes to the west of the plateau.

Rated estate (2022 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)
About the estate:
Owned by the Nony family since 1934, this historic estate has served as the crucible since 1973 for the creation—with the help of Michel Rolland—of a wine of great richness and charm, resolutely “modern” and, in that sense, a pioneer. The foothill terroir, varied across the 17 hectares of vineyards, has real character: the aging potential is astonishing, even in the smaller vintages—particularly successful ones, such as the remarkable 1997! The exuberance of recent vintages warrants close attention to ensure the wines do not become overly powerful.
Vinous
Wine rated (2021 guide) 95/100
About the wine:
The 2019 Grand Mayne offers a pure, beautifully defined bouquet of black cherry, blueberry, crushed violet, and mineral notes. The harmonious palate is medium-bodied with fine definition, crisp acidity, and hints of dark chocolate toward the finish, which displays both power and elegance. This is a superb Grand Mayne from Jean-Antoine Nony. 2024–2050
James Suckling

About the wine:
A vibrant, fruity nose of blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries, violets, licorice, and pine needles. Full-bodied, with firm yet supple tannins. Rich and concentrated, with ripe black fruit and a floral touch. Best enjoyed in 2023.

About the wine:
What finesse and depth in the bouquet of Grand Mayne! It manages to balance intensity with finesse, revealing notes of wild berries and spices. This wine stands out for its finesse and balance, as well as its ability to bridge the gap between liveliness and savory richness. A juicy, lingering finish. A fine achievement. 2025–2044
