Château La Confession
Located on the heights of the clay-limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion, Château La Confession spans 7 hectares of vineyards. The estate belongs to the Janoueix family, originally from Corrèze. In the 20th century, the family began producing and selling wine. A few years later, Jean-Philippe Janoueix fell in love with the Bordeaux vineyards and acquired numerous châteaux in the region, including Château Cap Saint-George and Château La Croix Saint-Georges.
The vineyards at Château La Confession benefit from the experience and expertise of Jean-Philippe Janoueix’s estates. Indeed, the vines are fully drained, debudded, leaf-thinned, and plowed; the harvest is green, and the grapes are picked in small crates... Thanks to the efforts of its owner,Château La Confession is able to offer a quality on par with the finest wines of Saint-Émilion.
