Château Laroze
The Meslin family, owners of Château Laroze, boasts a long lineage of winemakers; as early as 1610, direct ancestors of the family were producing wine in Saint-Émilion. At the end of the 19th century, they combined three small properties to create a 15-hectare vineyard on which Château Laroze and its winery were built.
All these development efforts were rewarded in 1955 with the classification of Saint-Emilion’s Grands Crus Classés. Château Laroze has retained this status continuously ever since.
