Château Plaisance (Saint-Émilion)
Located in the heart of the Saint-Emilion appellation, Plaisance Castle was built in 1886 in the region’s classic French architectural style. Derek Egan has owned this Grand Cru since 2006.

The vineyard of the Plaisance Castle covers 19 hectares, planted with three grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The terroir of Plaisance Castle blends gravel with sand and clay. Thanks to a state-of-the-art winery and a modern barrel cellar, the Plaisance Castle combines respect for tradition with modernity.
